The Board of Apprenticeship Training (NR), Kanpur was established in the year 1970. Since 1973, the Apprenticeship training of Engineering Degree & Diploma holders  was brought under the purview of Apprentices Act 1961 by Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. Subsequently, in 1986 the Apprenticeship training of 10+2 passed Vocational stream candidates was also brought under the purview of the Act by amendment in Apprentices Act 1961. Since then, the Board continued to deal with Apprenticeship Scheme as per Apprentices Act 1961 with amendments from time to time in the states of Uttar Pradesh,  Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, J&K, Himanchal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, National Capital Territory of Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Desired skills:
